چکیده
This paper presents a new methodological approach for analysing the impacts of climate change on urban habitat and improving quality life citizens. The study falls within diagnostic phase Climate Change Urban Health Resilience (CCUHRE) research project applied to rationalist neighbourhood Monticelli, suburb Ascoli Piceno (Italy). tests innovative multidisciplinary cognitive tools quantify create refined risk maps combining remote sensing, spatial data, satellite images, thermal fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations. These created an atlas green areas surfaces using scientific indexes that describe relationship between form heat type ground materials. information yielded by geoprocessing will allow critical aspects in context be addressed with site-specific strategies. In fact, through downscaling, it is possible analyse dynamics characteristics most significant identify related weather/climate characteristics, perceptual scenarios, stressed regions. results have provided dataset defines degree vulnerability identifies exposed risk.

Comparative and Combinative Study of Urban Heat island in Wuhan City with Remote Sensing and CFD Simulation
Urban heat islands are one of the most critical urban environment heat problems. Landsat ETM+ satellite data were used to investigate the land surface temperature and underlying surface indices such as NDVI and NDBI. A comparative study of the urban heat environment at different scales, times and locations was done to verify the heat island characteristics. Since remote sensing technology has l...
متن کاملA satellite remote sensing based assessment of urban heat island in Lanzhou city , northwest China
As a promising application, quantitative remote sensing of urban heat island (UHI) could facilitate our understanding of urban/suburban environment and its relationship with urbanization. This paper investigates the urban heat island effect of Lanzhou, China, a densely built up city in a valley, based on Landsat ETM+ image acquired on April 22, 2000, whose spatial resolution is sufficient for m...
متن کاملRemote sensing for urban heat and cool islands evaluation in semi-arid areas
Cities are experiencing rapid population growth and consequently extensive urbanization. Land-use/land-cover change is one of the important elements worldwide, which significantly affect the environment. This study aims to describe the emergence of urban heat and cool islands as a result of changes in land-use/land-cover. Land surface temperature over a 32-year period in Isfahan city, Iran was ...

Vegetation index (NDVI) was extracted from bi-temporal multispectral images based on the data obtained from Landsat ETM + on 14 th , September, 2000 , Landsat ETM + on 9 th , September, 2004 , Landsat ETM + on 15 th , May, 2008 and Landsat-8 on 21 st , May 2013 for Dangshan County in Anhui Province. Analysis and data extraction was carried out using the ENVI 5.0 software. Normalized values of t...
متن کاملRemote Sensing Image-based Analysis of the Relationship between Urban Heat Island and Vegetation Fraction
As the relationship between land surface temperature (LST) and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) can not be able to effectively apply after NDVI reached saturation[1]. In this study, the vegetation fraction, which derived from Dimidiate Pixel Model, as the indicator of vegetation abundance has been introduced to analyze remote sensing of the change of urban heat islands (UHIs). Land...
